Is it very hard for people in America to get information about foreign countries?

I mean, did someone make the Internet, almanacs, encyclopedias, textbooks, international travel, foreign news illegal is that why I have posters here claiming that Europe is all socialist, millions of people come to America each year for healthcare (go look up the actual statistic), Russia is still communist.....seriously, why are there so many whoppers on this board about things that can easily be looked up in a cheap almanac available at Barnes & Noble or your local library. Why do we have people who can't even find other countries on a map lecturing to us about the history, healthcare and economic systems of foreign nations?
