Hi i need some advice?

hi friends,am 14 days late on my period ,did a test 5 days ago early in the morning was negative,i have been felling very tired and kind of sick and very sensitive to smell,could it be that the test didnt detect the pregnancy yet or it would have shown and that am actually not pregnant,had my period on the 17 may end 21 may ,i have an ovulation test on 31 may was positive,how long i should wait to have another test,am not very patient but dont want to waste a test for nothnig,thanks
