How to clear up an ear infection(muffled hearing)?

well im 12 and i cant hear from my right ear my throat doesnt hurt but i keep coughing a lot and i went to the doctor 2 days ago and they said i had bronchitis (i think thats how u spell it BRON-KITE-IS) but they said nothing is wrong with my ear so idk if its normal to not be able to hear from your ear when you cough or not and i put hydrogen peroxide solution in my ear but i think that made it worse and i dont think that my mom is going to get an ear kit so is there anything to help my hearing with something in the house???
