Starting a Charity.......................…

Please give me some information about starting a charity to help Syria. I am only 16 years old but really want to make a difference. I have been thinking about building a school there. The kids should not have to suffer for the problems going on in the Middle East. It would be based here in America of course, but I will go to Syria to build it and hire some people there to take care of it. I am very serious about this and want some ideas. Building the school will be around 30,000-40,000 dollars. I have some family that will donate some money, but I also have to keep it running: electricity, employees, school supplies, etc. I think that might make it too much money. Is there anyway I could raise this type of money. What are some good ways to raise this? Maybe emailing some athletes and seeing if they will host a fundraiser? What are some other ideas? Also, if you don't think the school will work, what else could I do? Please give me some information. I really need it and will give best answer. Thanks a lot.
