Why is my tongue piercing so swollen?

i got my tongue pierced wednesday and it is not monday. It it still very swollen and hasnt really gone down. The top if my piercing is going into my tongue. I can bearly see the top ball anymore... Ive tryed ibuprofen and ice. please help.
