I saw the turn out in '04 at the University of Michigan when I was a sopre, a VERY liberal college. I was out to vote for Bush at 6 in the morning. There were hardly any young people there, even those who were out protesting or printing fliers or engaging in daily debates praising Kerry and Bashing Bush, none of them showed up, and I checked back every hour that day...no long lines filled with young'ns ready to exact change. So, my question, how may of you young Obama supporters are gonna wake up that Tuesday morning, look at the alarm clock you so studiously set for voting early, feel your head with your hands, realize how hungover and high all of you still are, and plop your heads right back down on your pillow for the rest of the day, waking up when the polls close, hanging out with your friends, saying "yeah man, sure man, I voted man....man!"

He can play SG and SF but he will probably play more SG because he lacks the size in the nba. I want to start practicing transcendental meditation but I didn't have a mantra to repeat or a teacher to guide me. So this group of guys I met were like "Hey dude come to our bible study!" and I was like "ok" I mean, I've met christians before but I never really new the whole story but now I get why they made that movie Evan Almighty...It's like the story of that dude Noah and the Arc. It turns out christians believe that some godlike person put his son in a human woman in order to save all the humans from some "original sin" curse that began when a woman made from the rib of her lover was tricked by a talking snake into eating some fruit from a magical tree. So then this virgin woman has this kid and he's a Jewish magician that goes around walking on water and making wine from water. He then tells everyone that they have to eat his flesh and symbolically accept him as their master so then all the other Jews kill him on a cross and then he comes back to life like some Zombie and says "I'll be back" like Arnold Schwartzengger in the freakin terminator. He then tells them that they should only live to make deciples...It's wierd cuz the only religion I see really following these orders are the Freakin Jehova Witnesses waking me up in the morning to ask me if I know the name of God...I'm confused. Do people just wanna fit in? Is this why they all become part of the same religion no matter how ridiculous it sounds? HELP!! You can do this. Go to rotary.org. The rotary club is the way to go. It's the most organized and largest exchange program in the world. No matter what country you go to, you can come back and do your SATs and ACTs. I went away for the full year and totally missed out on my Junior year. It was the best choice I have ever made. Go to Italy, you'll learn the language when you get there. You don't need any experience. Even if you do have experience in the language, unless you can actually speak it, studying from an online course or anything like that means nothing. You learn more in a week abroad than you will in 3 months at home. Any school you miss, no matter how much, will be made up when you get back. AND YOU WILL GRADUATE ON TIME!!! I am now a senior in high school and my friends and I (who went abroad) all missed a year of school here and are still going to graduate with all our friends. Just remember, you can go to england any time, you speak their language. Italy is the way to go. Once you go, you are set for life. This program changes you and turns you from boy to man. Why is my gr not growing?

You need to cover the gr seed with a light cover of straw to keep it evenly moist until it sprouts. (The straw just disappears about the time the gr first needs to be mowed.) If you didn't, my guess is that your seed has dried after it began to sprout, or that birds and mice or voles have eaten it all, in which case you'll need to reseed. Gr sprouts best in cool spring and fall, so the temperature is probably not an issue if your neighbor's gr is doing well. You may also have burned the new sprouts with the fertilizer; it doesn't need to be fed until you've mowed it several times. Hope this helps...

Is it ok for my 10 week old baby to be sleeping this long through the night without feed?

He has his bath, bottle story bewteen 7-8pm and is in his basket in his big cot by 8pm. He settles himself into a full sleep. I then dream feed him at around 11pm. (give or take). He then goes without a feed until 7am. He may wake if he gets congested (i then use saline spray and he goes straight back to sleep). He then wakes sometimes at 5am - should I feed him then? As at the moment I am giving him back his dummy (pacifier) which he then falls straight back to sleep until he is REALLY waking for a feed. What do you think? Shoud I feed him at 5am or keep leaving him to sleep through till 7am? He seems fine all day - he doesnt get more hungry.

Lets ume you were lucky and your bronco is equipped with a fusible link. Very near the battery connection (on the positive side) you will see a rectangular plastic box. It is a fuse that is there to protect your electrical system. It should be burned out.

I am out of answers, i feel i have hit rock bottom....again, but this time worse, it always seems worse. i am 19 years old, and come from an extremely hard child hood. Long story short throughout my child hood iv been physically, ually and mentally abused. My birth mom died when i was 2 and a half, and my birth dad never stuck around to even see my birth.(he was married to someone else at the time my mom got pregnaunt with me, and just left her) Iv always lived in foster care due to my mom's drug habbit, and homelessness, my foster mom that i lived with for 15 years died a few years ago, i still havent gotten over it, i never really grived about it at that time either, and now i am finding myself not being able to go on life with out her, it is just to painfull, on top of my current situation. A year and a half ago i met this guy who i thought was amazing, he completed my life, he was my family, he cared, he loved, and instead of telling me i dont belong here, he thought i was the most specialest person ever. He was amazing, he didn't belive in hitting me like most people belived in. i fell hard for this guy, and he fell hard for me to,(so it seemed) we thought we were so in love, and our theory was why wait to get married, so two months after we met we got married, i know it sounds crazy, but at the time it sounded ,like true love, i was so dumb, blind and neieve. On our honey moon he got mad and hit me in the leg, thebn he said he would never do it again and started crying. a couple months later around christmas time he almost broke my wrist, for a few months after that he would randomly get to mad and some how hurt me. I tried to leave him but he got back into shape and for a good few months he was good, he still would push me away when i wanted a kiss(he claims he doesnt like to kiss) and he doesn like to hold my hand, and he ignores me alot, and says mean things to me, but he wasn hurting me, then 4th of july i had to go to the hospital because i had a concusion becasue he got drunk and pushed me on the ground outside and i hit my head. he said sorry, but then would occasionally continue to hurt me, then he stopped again for a nice few months, then this last thanksgiving morning he was in a bad mood and punched me in the face twice, and a couple times in the arm, i said i would call the cops, then he chocked me(not the first time he has chocked me) so i punched him in the face and gave him a bloody nose, but i felt so bad, but i didnt know what else to do to get him to let go of my throat. i dont know why i feel like i cant leave, i feel i care about him strongly, and i miss and love the guy he was when we first met, and i feel like i could leave, but when it came down to it it is to painfull to actually go through. can anyone please give me advice?

Then we decide to stay there as well which happens to be the 2nd most holiest country in Islam, so of course that is going to spread more hatred throughout the region if we are on there land killing there people. So my question is, since the U.S. wars are such a joke and we as citizens of this great country have been constantly lied to over and over again, why would we support such a grave injustice? Why do so many people need to suffer for the acts of such a small minority that never represented any of the countries we invaded? Just a side note; I support the troops all the way, they aren't the ones who made this decision for Americans to go over there and fight. Old men in suits send young men to war for a certain ideology, and that I can not agree with.

6 WEEK OLD FULL TERM BABY'S PDA HAS NOT CLOSED?

My 6 week old son was born at full term 41 weeks, a perfectly healthy baby boy, and he went to his routine checkup, and they found that he had a heart murmer, so the following day I went in for some tests, and they noticed his PDA (PATENT DUCTUS ARTENOSUS) has not closed, they said the only thing left to do is surgery which is not open heart; but it is still surgery, this is the hardest thing for me and my family he is a healthy baby boy, is there anyone else that is going through this, have a similar story, or can give me any tips or advise, I'm so scared, and I need some advise, Thank you.

It was a really great movie. I didn't like it so much because of the hot guys, but what the movie represents. I do love the Chronicles of Narnia and they're great for kids. Although Loftus is a professor at my school and I know her, I'm not familiar with this specific experiment. However, a t-test would only be used when you compare two samples. If you have more than two samples you would use an ANOVA, and that would tell you if there are differences between 3 or more samples. You could use the 5 variables, then use something called "planned contrasts" which are basically a set of t-tests to test for significant differences between all the possible pairs of groups.

How do I deal with this y blonde?

I'm 58, and look really good for my age, and recently started hooking up with some of my clmates. One of them is a woman who was always the popular cute one in school and could have any guy she wanted. some of your adjectives and adverbs can be dropped, and the ones that are left don't really fit - there are better ones you could use... also, people don't have to "noisily state" things, or "loudly question"... it should be plain ol' "stated" or "said", and "asked"... overall it's an interesting story, but some of the words are just a little "off"... for instance, "During the course of the day, I finish off my routine chores but cannot help but surmise that I should be isting in the fighting for our country." would be better as, "As I do the day's chores, I can't help but dwell on the state of our country. I feel I should be helping out in some way." as any professional writer will tell you, edit, edit, edit.... and then edit some more. try to take out as much of the extraneous stuff as you can, and find ways to simplify what's left over. but, yeah, it's a great "blueprint" - just put in a little extra work, clean it up a bit, and it should be an A+, no problem... oh yeah, and don't be afraid to use plain ordinary language - big words, or in this case "19th century sounding" words, aren't always necessary, and if you use them incorrectly they only detract from the story and disrupt the narrative flow.

Been Jovi's crowd show be fine, no rough stuff I've been to a couple 80's glam concerts. I've seen poison, cinderella, quite riot... More then likely someone will have pot in there I think its a given at any show nowadays. I'm going to guess show will be two hours long depending on the local noise ordnance's. Sometimes cities can be strict about that even if its an indoor. I will say they will do a couple songs of the new album plus 95% of their clics. Usually when a tour is called the same name as the album don't mean they are playing the whole album its just the album they are supporting at the moment. Other than that not much else to worry about.

What cles should I take in High school for engineering major?

Take as many rigorous math and science courses as you can. Definitely go for AP Physics (C Mechanics and Electromagnetism is probably better, but if your school only offers B then take that). I'd also recommend AP Chemistry, and AP Calculus BC. AP Biology probably wouldn't hurt either.

How do you manually start a key-ignition gokart?

I have a 8hp gokart that is not starting all of a sudden(this is a video of the gokart problem and the click noise it makes when trying to start http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17R2z2fvi8s). It has a belt and a chain. The batterys at full charge and all the cables connected to the battery are fine. I've used a light probe to test the wires. When I connect the ground leed of the light probe to a bolt on the starter and touch the other leed to any wires running from the starter to the solenoid and battery and turn the key, the light only dims when turning the key. All the other wires light it up brightly, and this is so even when the battery is hooked up to a jumper. Does anyone know how to find out if it is a starter problem or if the engine is locked/seized? The gokart was running fine recently and suddenly stopped working. If theres another way to figure out the problem, please describe it to me I am not very mechanically inclined.

I need to connect a powered mixer to an amp.?

I have a PA system at my school that we use for dances. I DJ here and I've been having trouble hooking up the speakers. We have 2 Large JBL towers and a large JBL Woofer. Currently, I am only able to use the two towers because the back of the powered mixer only has 2 NL4 ports. We do have about 4 separate amps but I'm not sure how to hook the mixer into the amps and then into the speakers so that I can use the subwoofer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How to clear up an ear infection(muffled hearing)?

well im 12 and i cant hear from my right ear my throat doesnt hurt but i keep coughing a lot and i went to the doctor 2 days ago and they said i had bronchitis (i think thats how u spell it BRON-KITE-IS) but they said nothing is wrong with my ear so idk if its normal to not be able to hear from your ear when you cough or not and i put hydrogen peroxide solution in my ear but i think that made it worse and i dont think that my mom is going to get an ear kit so is there anything to help my hearing with something in the house???

Ubuntu 9 codecs help?

After installing the os, everytime i was prompted to install codecs i installed only the the pack that was needed to play specific file, same about flash and java. Now i removed 3 packs because i wanted to install Ubuntu restricted extras. Also removed the java and flash. So, after installing the restricted extras i noticed tgat video quality is not as good as before. I removed the restricted extras and now i want to install every pack one by one as i did in the beginning. What i m concern of is the mess that all my exploration caused. Using Deborphan (orphaned package renover) find a lot of other packages that im safe to delete but im not sure about. What to do? Do i need to install all the codecs and then run Deborphan or run it now before installing the codecs??

Its been 10 years since Ive had my last child so Im out of the loop :) Do I have to boil water before giving it to baby? Can I just use bottled water?
